A Bridge Too Far is a 1977 epic war film depicting Operation Market Garden, a failed Allied operation in Nazi-occupied Netherlands during World War II. Based on a non-fiction book of the same name by historian Cornelius Ryan, the film is directed by Richard Attenborough and with a screenplay by William Goldman.[5] It stars an ensemble cast, featuring Dirk Bogarde, James Caan, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Edward Fox, Elliott Gould, Gene Hackman, Anthony Hopkins, Hardy Krüger, Laurence Olivier, Ryan O'Neal, Robert Redford, Maximilian Schell and Liv Ullmann. The movie received some criticism because of inaccuracies portrayed in the movie.
This is one of the reasons why i worked on a fan edit of the movie, where i edited or removed inaccuracies from the movie. This is the original trailer, completely remastered with footage of the fan edit! All the footage has been upscaled met A.I Enhancements and there has been color grading to give the movie a more gritty and more modern look.
